Buyers snap up three homes off plan in exclusive rural development
A DEVELOPMENT of luxury family homes in the Cheshire village of Henbury is creating a buzz among buyers as three plots are reserved off plan as soon as building work got underway.
Cheadle-based PH Homes is currently constructing The Courtyard, an exclusive development of nine semi-detached and mews style homes, in the picturesque village close to Alderley Edge and Prestbury.
Interest in the four bedroom homes, valued between £525,000 and £575,000, grew as soon as sales were launched for this development on a winding country lane in the heart of the Cheshire countryside.
Inspired by the local architecture, the homes have been designed to blend in with the surrounding farm buildings and country cottages in the surrounding countryside.
Reflecting the heritage of the area, each of the six house types have been named after some of Cheshire’s historic country homes.
Philip Hughes, Managing Director of PH Homes, said: “The Courtyard provides a unique opportunity to purchase a contemporary countryside home in a beautiful rural setting.
“Brownfield development sites like these rarely come to the market so we were delighted to find a local land owner who was looking to relocate his business.
The Courtyard site is the former home of Barlows of Henbury, an agricultural equipment business, run by the Barlow family in the village for more than 60 years.
However, after a period of significant growth the Barlow’s were looking to sell the site and relocate to new premises.
We were able to purchase the site, gain planning approval and build a prestigious development that is more appropriate to its surroundings.”
Construction of The Courtyard is due to complete in Summer 2017, with the first residents set to move into their new homes soon after.
The remaining six houses are being marketed by Andrew J Nowell & Company. For more information visit www.phph.co.uk .
