Hill Dickinson’s Cragg steps up to lead growing Health team
International law firm, Hill Dickinson, has appointed Andrew Craggs as its new head of health. Andrew Craggs, who has been with the firm for eighteen years will lead Hill Dickinson’s growing healthcare and health litigation teams based in Manchester, London and Liverpool.
The move comes as the firm continues to expand its presence nationally and increase its offering to independent healthcare providers, medical malpractice underwriters, medical defence organisations and the NHS.
Hill Dickinson’s 90-strong health team acts for more than 100 NHS bodies across the country. The firm is appointed to the NHS LA’s clinical negligence, EL/PL and Arms-Length panels and the National Procurement Service for Wales, as well as being the sole provider of legal services to Health Education England. In addition, the firm is appointed to the Health Trust Europe, North of England Commercial Procurement Collaborative, London Procurement Partnership, NHS Shared Business Services and the NHS Commercial Alliance frameworks.
To further bolster the team, Hill Dickinson has appointed David Hill as Legal Director to join its expanding London team. David returns to Hill Dickinson, where he worked for eight years, before briefly working with Weightmans from 2014. David will work with healthcare providers and commissioners across the country on a wide range of regulatory and governance issues, with a particular focus on the primary care sector.
