A developer of luxury homes has donated £30,000 of designer furniture to a charity specialising in providing housing for adults with learning disabilities.

PH Homes has made the donation to Lets for Life, a specialist lettings agency, who support adults with complex learning disabilities find comfortable and safe homes to live and then help them to manage their tenancies.

The furniture, which includes beds, designer sofas, stylish chairs, functional desks, artwork and luxurious soft furnishings and accessories, is being given to tenants of Lets for Life when they move into their new home.

Rebecca Fairhurst, Executive Manager of Lets for Life, said: “When our tenants get their first home, it’s a major stepping stone to their independence. It is a very exciting time for them and being given some luxury, designer furniture to add to their new home is wonderful.

“The furniture will be shared among our tenants as they move into their new homes.  We would like to thank PH Homes for assisting, as it has helped lighten the financial aspects when ‘moving in’ for tenants with complex disabilities have to manage.
