A HOUSING association has released its own feature film to share the emotional and inspiring stories of the tenants they home.

Accent Housing worked with Manchester-based brand-led design agency BGN to produce the one-hour film So Far to showcase the personal stories of their tenants and the impact that having a secure and stable home has had on their lives.

The emotive film is made up of 13 mini-episodes and features current tenants and Accent staff discussing personal stories and experiences.

Briefed to be as open and honest as possible, the tenants and staff who had been brought together from all over the country, were filmed discussing the impact Accent Housing has had on them and their journey through life.

BGN founder and operations director Antonio Giansante said that working with Accent and the housing provider’s tenants has been both a humbling and fantastic experience.

He said: “Accent Housing is a housing association like no other, one dedicated not just to helping people get onto the housing ladder but doing whatever it takes to keep them there too.

“They approached BGN having put the finishing touches on their corporate strategy for the next three years and really wanted to come up with a captivating campaign to roll out their corporate strategy.

“Working in collaboration with The Gate on the production of the film, we came up with a concept that would provide tenants and staff with the platform to demonstrate how much it means to be provide someone with a home.

“The end result is work we are very proud of and one that we feel really shows the unbelievable work that Accent Housing does in a really creative and compelling way.

“Hats off to Accent for being so forward thinking and allowing us to come up with a creative campaign to showcase the huge impact of their work.”

Founded in 1966, Accent Housing works to provide safe, secure, quality affordable homes for a diverse range of customers in the UK. The homes and services provided support residents and communities to realise their aspirations for better living.

Accent Housing chief executive Paul Dolan said: “We’ve been delighted to work with BGN to help launch our new Corporate Strategy and promote some of the great work our sector does.

“BGN have been professional throughout the filming process, and our customers have enjoyed the experience and been made to feel at ease.
