Planning permission granted for exclusive family homes in Nether Alderley
LUXURY housebuilder PH Homes has secured planning permission to build three executive homes on the site of a former mushroom farm in a picturesque Cheshire village.
The brownfield site in Bollington Lane, Nether Alderley, will be transformed into three exclusive, five bedroom and four reception room, detached family homes – set in seven acres of countryside.
The purchase of the Nutrigain mushroom farm, which grew mushrooms for agricultural composting, in October last year is the second brownfield site situated in the green belt PH Homes has purchased recently.
Cheadle-based PH Homes, who seek prestigious rural locations where they can situate high quality developments of luxury family homes, stepped in when they found out the site was available.
On taking over ownership of the site, which already had planning consent for three homes, PH Homes submitted a new planning application to Cheshire East Council for the exclusive development. The plans were given the stamp of approval under delegated powers by the council’s planning officers in February.
Phil Hughes, Managing Director of PH Homes, said: “Bollington Lane is the second brownfield site we have located within the greenbelt that is now under development. There is a real demand for high quality homes in Cheshire and we are eager to maximise opportunities to build in brownfield rural locations.
“We are now looking forward to taking our plans forward for Bollington Lane and starting on site. The three homes will be built in a traditional style but with a contemporary twist.
“We’d be keen to talk to other businesses with industrial properties or land in desirable locations.”
Work is expected to get underway on the site in Bollington Lane later this month with completion in September 2017. The three stunningly designed homes are priced between £1.5 million and £1.7 million.
