Regency Residential submits planning for Trelawney House
Plans have been revealed to convert a disused office block in the heart of Bristol city centre into high quality apartments.
Regency Residential, a Manchester property consultancy and advisory firm, has submitted proposals for Trelawney House to become home to 36 much needed One and Two-Bedroom flats.
The 17,625 sq ft development on Surrey Street is five minutes from Cabot Circus, close to retail and leisure amenities and also near both Bristol Temple Meads train station and Bristol International Airport.
If the plans are approved Regency Residential will start conversion work on the four-storey building in June.
Michael Fenlon, sales and marketing director, said: “We are thrilled to have submitted our plans for this property.
“Trelawney House’s prime location with excellent transport links and surrounding commercial retailers makes this a key development for us and one that will attract a variety of occupiers.
“Bristol, the largest commercial centre in the south-west, is already a thriving area and the development of Trelawney House will contribute significantly as we are planning to provide much needed living spaces.”
Michael also said Regency Residential has sold over 100 apartments since launching earlier this year – with combined sales totting up to more than £14 million.
He said: “Regency Residential has a history, albeit short, of bringing homes or investments that are of a high standard and financially protected, to the UK housing market. These proposals for Trelawney House will contribute to meeting Bristol’s increasing demand for high-quality accommodation.
“Our offer as a company is such a rarity, especially when compared with other companies in the investment market, as our clients’ money is protected and not used to fund any of the build.
“Regency Residential only requires a £1,000 deposit reservation fee, which is then taken off the 10% deposit on exchange.”
Michael added: “Regency Residential, which has a national and international focus, is backed by private Trusts and Funds and, as a result, does not require investor money as capital for any of the developments.
“We have 5,000 units in planning across the UK, which includes our plans in Bristol.”
